At Auto Pros Academy, we’re driving the future of career education with a clear path from middle school all the way to meaningful career placement in the booming automotive industry. Our five dynamic programs include:

  • Future Auto Techs Middle School STEM Program – Sparking curiosity and skills early!

  • Automotive Engineering & Technology Prep (9th-10th grade) – Building solid foundations.

  • Automotive Engineering & Technology Advanced (11th-12th grade) – Mastering advanced skills and certifications.

  • 2-Year Paid Apprenticeship – Real-world experience that pays!

  • Apprenticeship Job Placement Program – Connecting talent to opportunity.

We’re committed to educating underserved youth, increasing diversity in the automotive industry, and supporting local economic growth by building a skilled, certified workforce. Through hands-on instruction, mentorship, and community partnerships, students gain job-ready skills and a clear path to certification and employment.

Mentorship Programs

Fostering Excellence Through Dedicated Support

At Auto Pros Academy, mentorship is central to student success. Our vetted staff and industry professionals guide students at every stage, ensuring a safe and supportive environment from middle school through apprenticeship.

  • Middle School STEM: Students receive mentorship from instructors and the Executive Director through hands-on workshops, guest speakers, shop workshops, and career exploration, sparking early interest in automotive fields.

  • High School Programs: All students are mentored by experienced staff, helping them navigate advanced coursework, prepare for ASE certification, and make informed career decisions.

  • Apprenticeship: Graduates in our Paid Apprenticeship Program are paired with seasoned industry technicians for hands-on training, professional development, and one-on-one coaching, preparing them for successful automotive careers.

Mentorship at every level educates students to explore, learn, and excel in the automotive industry.

Auto Pros Academy Programs: A Seamless Pathway to Automotive Excellence

Auto Pros Academy offers a structured pathway from middle school exploration to professional mastery in automotive technology:

  • Middle School STEM: Students engage in hands-on, after-school STEM activities, building curiosity and foundational skills in automotive technology. Graduates can advance to our high school prep program, deepening their technical knowledge and preparing for further study.

  • High School Program: Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, and seniors receive comprehensive training in automotive repair, diagnostics, and maintenance, aligned with industry standards and preparing them for ASE certifications.

  • Paid Apprenticeship: Advanced graduates are paired with experienced technicians for real-world, hands-on training, professional development, and networking. Apprentices gain both technical expertise and essential workplace skills, setting them up for successful careers.

Our hands-on approach ensures students are equipped with the skills, experience, and confidence needed to excel in the automotive industry.

Certification Preparation

 Educating Students for Career Success

Auto Pros Academy prepares students for industry-recognized ASE certifications through a curriculum aligned with ASE standards, combining classroom instruction, hands-on workshops, and real-world simulations. Students receive dedicated resources, study materials, practice tests, and mentorship to ensure exam success, particularly in Maintenance & Light Repair (G1), Suspension & Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).

Paid apprenticeships at Auto Pros Lancaster Auto Repair provide valuable real-world experience and industry connections, encouraging students to achieve certifications during or soon after their apprenticeship. Our college-based curriculum also prepares graduates for further educational advancement.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and Platinum Participant with Candid, Auto Pros Academy maintains the highest standards of transparency and accountability. We are dedicated to providing automotive repair education to middle and high school students. In an era where auto-shop classes are disappearing, and the U.S. faces a growing shortage of skilled technicians, we ignite a passion for automotive careers in the next generation. Our innovative programs-including the Future Auto Techs Middle School STEM Program and advanced high school curricula- offer hands-on training and guidance toward ASE certifications. Led by our head instructor, a Certified ASE Master Technician with over 40+ years of experience, we are committed to evolving our curriculum to include emerging automotive technologies such as electric and hybrid vehicles. Through program expansion, career counseling, soft skills development, and leadership training, we support students holistically as they transition into rewarding automotive careers.
