About Us
Auto Pros Academy empowers underserved youth in Lancaster and surrounding communities through free, hands-on automotive STEM education. Our mission is to transform passion into professional success by providing a seamless pathway from middle school STEM engagement to high school automotive repair programs, preparing students for ASE certifications and rewarding careers in the automotive industry.
This school year 2025-2026, we are actively building partnerships with local school districts and community organizations to develop and pilot our innovative Future Auto Techs Middle School STEM Program as an after-school initiative held directly on the campuses of participating school districts. We are also focused on securing grant funding and a facility to support our growing programs. Our leadership team, led by a Certified ASE Master Technician with over 40 years of experience, is dedicated to creating a curriculum that is engaging, fun, and combines technical skills with integrity, professionalism, and innovation.
Starting in the 2026-2027 school year, we will officially open our doors with both the full Future Auto Techs Middle School STEM Program-remaining on school campuses and expanding to additional districts so every child can benefit from automotive STEM-and our high school programs: the Automotive Engineering & Technology Prep Program (for freshmen and sophomores) and the Automotive Engineering & Technology Advanced Program (for juniors and seniors). These programs will provide advanced training and clear pathways to ASE certifications. Through these efforts, Auto Pros Academy aims to prepare the next generation of skilled automotive professionals who will contribute meaningfully to their communities and the local economy.
Our Mission
At Auto Pros Academy, our mission is to empower underserved youth in Lancaster and surrounding communities by providing a seamless, innovative pathway from curiosity to career in the automotive industry. We spark interest early through our hands-on Future Auto Techs Middle School STEM Program, held directly on school campuses, where students explore automotive technology and problem-solving in a dynamic, supportive environment.
As students advance to high school, they enter our Automotive Engineering & Technology Prep Program (for freshmen and sophomores) and Automotive Engineering & Technology Advanced Program (for juniors and seniors). These rigorous, college-based curricula are aligned with ASE standards and designed to develop advanced technical knowledge, critical thinking, and real-world skills.
Upon graduation, students are eligible for our paid, part-time Auto Pros Apprenticeship Program a capstone of our pathway. In this apprenticeship, students earn two ASE certifications, a crucial credential for obtaining top pay in the automotive industry. Apprentices gain two years of essential, paid, hands-on shop experience, working alongside experienced technicians, earning wages while receiving mentorship and applying their skills in real-world settings.
The final and most important step is our Auto Pros Apprenticeship Job Placement Program, which connects graduates with employers, ensuring smooth transitions into rewarding, long-term careers in the automotive industry.
By connecting classroom learning, advanced technical training, paid work experience, and job placement support, we ensure our students are fully prepared for successful, ethical, and fulfilling careers. Our mission is to cultivate skilled, innovative, and principled technicians who drive positive change in the industry and contribute to the economic vitality and growth of our community.
Our Vision
We envision Auto Pros Academy as a national leader in automotive education, cultivating a diverse community of passionate, skilled, and ethical technicians. Our graduates will set new standards of integrity and professionalism, driving positive change within the automotive repair industry and beyond.
Our goal is to nurture our future engineers, designers, technicians, innovators, and shop entrepreneurs while changing the perception that automotive repair technicians are not skilled professionals. ASE-certified technicians must commit to lifelong learning to stay relevant, especially as automotive technology rapidly evolves. We envision more women entering and thriving in our industry to help reshape the future of this field.
Driven by a commitment to excellence and innovation, we strive to highlight automotive repair as a dynamic, rewarding, and vital career path for future generations.
