2. Program Structure and Enrollment:
  • Year 1: 40 Freshman and Sophomores ( 9th & 10th grades) 2026-2027 school year
  • Year 1: 40 Juniors  (11th grade) 2026-2027 school year 
  • Year 2: 40 seniors (12th grade) advanced classes 2027-2028 school year
  • A new class of 40 juniors starts each year
  • Two-year post-graduation apprenticeship opportunity for graduates interested in ASE Certifications 
  • The application process includes an initial application, interview, and selection
  • Advancement to Year 2 based on performance, aptitude, and commitment
3. Curriculum:
  • College-based automotive technology curriculum
  • Prepares students for higher education and industry certifications
  • Includes theoretical knowledge and practical skills development
4. Instructor Qualifications:
  • Our head instructor is a Certified ASE  Master Technician with over 40 years of experience
  • Holds multiple industry certifications
  • Possesses a degree in Engineering
  • Experience at Ford in Research and Developement department
5. Safety Protocols and Training:
  • The first week of instruction is dedicated to safety training and protocols
  • Students must pass a safety assessment before hands-on activities
  • Ongoing safety reminders and updates are integrated throughout the program
6. Class Structure and Team-Based Learning:
  • Year 1: Four classes of 20 students each
  • Year 2: Two advanced classes of 20 students each
  • Students work in teams of 5 within each class
  • Each team is equipped with a bidirectional scanner for diagnostic work
7. Equipment and Tools:
  • Each team is provided with a starter kit of tools
  • All necessary materials and equipment are provided at no charge
  • Safety gear (safety glasses, shop aprons) is provided by the program
  • Students are required to provide their safety shoes
8. Technology Integration:
  • Use of modern diagnostic tools like bidirectional scanners
  • Emphasis on current automotive technologies

  • Attendance is crucial; one missed class cannot be made up

After completing the comprehensive 2 year curriculum, students have the opportunity to enroll in our two-year, part-time paid Apprenticeship Program with Auto Pros Lancaster Auto Repair. This program offers several key benefits:

  • ASE Certification Preparation: Receive training tailored to help you succeed on ASE exams. By participating in this apprenticeship, you will meet the required two years of work experience needed for most ASE certifications.

  • Job Placement Assistance: Get support finding employment after completing your apprenticeship.
